Setting up the Live Chat Skill in raiaAI’s Launch Pad involves a structured configuration process, broken into sections for content, customization, security, and design. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Welcome Screen & Introduction

This is what the user sees first when they initiate a chat.

  • Introduction Message (Required): Write a friendly greeting explaining who the AI agent is and how it can help.

  • Predefined Options (Optional): Up to 4 prompts (e.g., “Book a Demo”, “View Pricing”) to guide the user.

  • Disclaimer (Optional): Add a note such as “This chat is powered by AI and may have limitations.”

2. Custom Links

Let users easily access key pages (e.g., Contact, Docs).

  • Add Link: Set the link name (e.g., “Visit FAQ”) and URL.

  • Multiple links supported Each link appears as a button in the chat.

3. Design Settings

Customize the look and feel of the chat widget.

  • Primary Color (Optional): Pick a color using the HEX or RGB code (e.g., #1E90FF for Dodger Blue).

  • Chat Icon (Optional): Upload a branded image that will show in the chat UI.

4. Security Settings

Control who can access the chat.

  • IP Restrictions (Optional): Add allowed IP addresses to limit access (e.g., only company IPs).

  • Geographic Restrictions (Optional): Select allowed countries (users outside these locations will be blocked).

5. Live Preview & Dynamic Widget

As you fill out content, the widget on the right updates in real-time to show how your chat will appear to users.

6. Save and Test

  • Save Button: Finalizes the setup.

  • Embed Code Button: Use this to get the HTML snippet to embed the chat widget on your site.

💡 Pro Tip: Use “Optimize with AI” on inputs like the welcome message or disclaimers. It will suggest polished, user-friendly copy based on your context.
